Journey to the Cross…and the empty tomb

GOOD FRIDAY ECUMENICAL SERVICE  April 14th  12-3

Our Ecumenical Good Friday Service begins at noon and focuses on the seven last sayings Jesus made during His crucifixion. The service runs for around three hours and you may enter and leave the  sanctuary as you need. If you want to fully appreciate the power of Jesus Christ on Easter morning, you must journey to the cross with Him on Good Friday.

A GOOD FRIDAY SERVICE OF TENEBRAE   April 14th   7pm

We will also have an evening service on Good Friday. It will be A  Service of Tenebrae. Tenebrae, a Latin term meaning darkness, is a service in which the Passion narrative is read, and little by little the sanctuary goes dark as candles are extinguished after each reading.

Easter Services at 8:15a.m. & 10:30a.m.

Join us on Easter Morning as we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ!  PLEASE PLAN ON bringing a flower to service  on Easter to adorn a wooden cross that we will cover in flowers and then place outside as a  symbol to our community of Christ’s power over death!

An Easter Egg Hunt will be on Easter Sunday, at 10:00 a.m. between services.  Families and children should come to the conference room after service.  Baskets are available. Eggs will have prizes, but no candy. All are welcome!
