Christmas Eve Services will be offered three times on Sunday, December 24th. Everyone is welcome!

Join us at one of these services:

3:00 p.m. Family Friendly Service
At this service there will be lots of singing and maybe even a little dancing.   All ages are welcome whether you like a less formal service or want to travel in daylight hours, this service will tell the story of the birth of Jesus Christ!

7:00 p.m. Traditional Candlelight Service

For our traditional service we will have our choir and hand-bell choir play, and are taken on a journey to the manger through scripture, song, and story. Glow-sticks are available for younger children to hold at the end of the service when we sing by candlelight.

9:00 p.m. Traditional Candlelight Service with Communion

Our last service of the evening is a little quieter and more somber, as the night draws to an end. We celebrate Holy Communion during this service to receive the gift that is offered to us in Jesus Christ.

  1. I have been going to the Milford Methodist church since Sunday school. I’ve gotten married there, and both of my children have been baptized there. Pastor Lou performed my Mom’s funeral service. I feel at home at this church. They do not judge. I leave after services filled with warm, fuzzy feeling. I feel more positive, and my outlook on life is always better when I leave. The Milford United Methodist Church will always be my “2nd home”, where I feel the most comfortable. Christmas was always one of my favorite holidays until Mom died. Now everything is different. I’ll be honest, I stopped going to church after Mom died. I was upset with God. After completing a Grief Support Program nearby, I now have come to realize that Mom is with her family, in the great kingdom we call Heaven….She is loved, happy and no longer suffering. It has taken some time to comprehend this. I want to publicly thank Pastor Lou for her strength which she has passed on to me, and her knowledge and kindness. I know for sure I wouldn’t have gotten through this past year without her and also without God. I’ve learned to accept that this was God’s will, and only he knows why we lost her….Instead of tears shed, I wasted a lot of time on anger when I should have been rejoicing that Mom is now in paradise with her loved ones. I hope everyone that sees this has a blessed, healthy, safe and Merry Christmas….Special thanks for my Aunt Nancy Greening for her ongoing support and love.
