GOOD FRIDAY ECUMENICAL SERVICE March 30th 12-3
Our Ecumenical Good Friday Service begins at noon and focuses on the seven last sayings Jesus made during His crucifixion. The service runs for around three hours and you may enter and leave the sanctuary as you need. If you want to fully appreciate the power of Jesus Christ on Easter morning, you must journey to the cross with Him on Good Friday.
Good Friday Free Community Dinner
Our regularly scheduled free dinner falls on Good Friday. We have chosen to keep to the schedule and invite you to join in this meal. We will have readings on each table to discuss the Last Supper, the institution for the Eucharist, and the Passion Narrative. Come and stay for the Tenebrae Service at 7:00 p.m.
A GOOD FRIDAY SERVICE OF TENEBRAE March 30th 7pm
We will also have an evening service on Good Friday. It will be A Service of Tenebrae. Tenebrae, a Latin term meaning darkness, is a service in which the Passion narrative is read, and little by little the sanctuary goes dark as candles are extinguished after each reading.
